Warm wishes

It was such a joy  as a child to wake up in the morning, and see a whole world transformed into something magical!
We could't wait to run out into the crisp and delicious fresh air, and have fun in the snow. But, I also LOVE the early morning, just before all the kids rushed in and left their foot prints into that crisp snow... Just right after sunrise, when everything sparkles...
Hello everyone, it has been WAY TOO HOT here, hot and humid-I am like a fish out of water..
So, I am allready wishing for the winter seems like :)
And I have made this wall hanging, 6x6 glued to the cork board, and colored with dry chalk. Has lot's of heat embossing and Distress Crackle paint. Red beads are acrylic-you bake them yourself in your own owen.
Stamps used here are:
Sutter Stamps G-1273
Heartfelt Creations
I allready hang it in my bedroom-so it would look cooler ))
Well, I don't know about YOU, but this summer I am NOT such a good  blogger at all) no time, no energy, and no desire....
I am either lazy, or lost my mojo.... I sure hope it'll come back soon)
Oh well...

Beauty of a nature

I wanted to do a serene and dreamy card, it reminds me of a place called "Ice House" in California, where me and my husband used to go fishing for Trout, and camp.
I was always impressed with the night sky there-that was pure magic!
And hearing splish-splash water of the lake was so much like the lullaby.

Seaside Memories

At Craf a Scene blog we have a second week of Beach Scene - A Bit of Sand and Water
And  here is my 2nd take on this theme:
Here I have used a glossy cardstock,
139H Seaside Cove
268E Sand Pattern
131A Rock Duo sm
067B Reeds
Colored with Adirondack Dye with the help of the stylus tool.
And a few of the seashells glued to the picture
Bird stamps by Impression Obsession.
Come and take a look at other work, they are mind blowingly inspiring!!!

He walks the way of the stars and haloed Moon,
And stalks the forested places between frozen hill and plain ~

He understands the soulful song of the Wind,
And I long to save the Wilderness in his name ~
Skye Ryan-Evans
A very simple card, but I do like it
text inside the card reads:
"Overcome the notion
that you have to be regular.
It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary."
here I have used stap of the wolf-which I have found on ebay, banch stamp by Stampscapes, bats-from different sets of stamps.
Moon is made by masking.
Colored by distress ink pads (Ranger)
A touch of Glossy Accents and Smooch on the eyes.
White gel pen
antique gold glitter
Thanks for looking!

She's expecting

This card I did made just because... no reason, except I just liked the image so much! I couldn't help myself  )
So... here she is:
I love her look, which says-"Don't judge me!" ))

She looks like my dear sister Alla... too bad she's not pregnant anymore ;) (she has 4 kids!) all under age of 7

Summer breeze

Summer breeze
For those of you, who are tired of cold and winter blues, I have made some summer blues :)
I hope this will cheer you up, and put you in a good mood.
Saturated Canary image:

Sea I colored with distress ink pads, some liquid pearls, baubles, glitter. Clouds were made with template and seagulls stamps.

Mixed Media Collage (Stand Tall)

Well, apparently I've got a new craziness :))
But, I am really having fun!
This is my new girl for my own bedroom wall

Just some close ups
of the textures, and colors

Mixed Media Collage (Fall)

Well, I just couldn't stop myself...
Had to make one more!
This time I really got down and dirty :)

And this is how it started:
Then I covered everything in white Gesso, after that it was just impossible to take pictures, all my fingers were covered in paint!

I used ribbon, I used a metal chain, ghost leaves, silk leaves, acrylic paint, alcohol paint, gold leaf, chalk, acrylic beads and rhinestones, die cuts-you name it-it's there! :) But I am quite happy with the result.
I was afraid my husband, when he sees it would say: that his wife went crazy, but... surprise-surprise-he liked it :)
And this one would be my 2nd entry into the Совместный проект "Коллажи" - 4 этап
My inspiration-this time it was just "INTUITION" I suppose... :)
Thanks for stopping by, sorry I don't visit every one at the moment, kids are on a Spring Vacation, and I just crazy about making this collage thing.... I don't even cook, we live on sandwiches :)

Sleeping mermaid

Hello everyone, well at least those who come here! :) I hope you had good weekend, ours was quite busy. We panted two pear trees, finally did our taxes-FINALLY! :) And cleaned our car inside and out-phew....
And I did this... well, it's an attempt which counts-right? :)
Don't judge me too harshly, really I don't know what I am doing, but, I am not giving up just yet...

And earlier I have made another version (which my husband likes a lot more)
But, that one was a present for my friend Darya, and it is all ready on it's way to her:
One with the white tail I painted straight on the canvas, and one with the blue tail was colored on the paper with Prismacolor pencils, and the decoupaged to the surface, leaves and fishes as well.

And this was the inspiration:
Thanks for looking!
Have a good day!

You are my Sunshine

Today I am continuing with the Mixed media collage challenge-Совместный проект "Коллажи" - 3 этап
This time theme is a Summer, and you have to have texture on your canvas.
For me Summer usually is when my sisters come and stay with my family-and I have 5 of them, and 3 brothers too! As sisters we share a lot:
family of course, clothes, cooking tips and of course milestones and pictures.
We are all oh so different-in our choices and tastes of fashion, education, picking husbands :)
And yet we are all still connected, even though we live miles and states apart.
My inspiration picture was this one:

Only my girls are a bit older
On my picture I had only one piece of paper
Since the girls take up so much space, I added texture with texture paste which I colored yellow first.
Some stamping, and just a bit color around entire picture with bubble wrap and white and yellow acrylic paint.
And they also have "Pearls" which were made with Liquid Pearls-which adds a little texture as well.
Girl's eyes and hair was colored with Prismacolor Pencils, and faces I painted with acrylic paint flesh color.
Clothes for the girls were out different scraps of paper I had, but main paper for their dresses was from Kaiser Craft
This was my working palette:
